The Logitech C920x was hard to keep on shelves this year due to continuing supply chain delays rippling throughout many tech. The result of freeing up in-camera resources and instead focusing on delivering better image quality, have been born out in three of Logitech’s most popular webcams, the C920, C922 and BRIO. One of Logitech's latest flagship webcams is back in stock on Amazon. All of these enhancements contribute to superior video images across a wide range of resolutions and a wide variety of software applications. Moving forward, Logitech is refocusing camera computational and power resources on support for new features like 4K image sensors, high-performance optics, improved light performance and higher frame rates. For video calls using apps such as Skype, 1080p at 30fps is more than enough and both. Both webcams are capable of 1080p at 30fps but if you use 720p, the C920 is limited to 30fps while the C922x is capable of delivering 60fps.
In fact, most application developers do not want the added complexity of creating unique software optimizations for webcams and very few of today’s video applications take advantage of Logitech’s existing in-camera encoding capabilities. For video calling, the Logitech C922x has the advantage due to its ability to record and stream at 720p at 60fps. The net result of these hardware and encoding advances is that there is no longer a need for in-camera encoding in today’s computers.

The picture quality in the C922 comes with an improved low-light correction, which makes it even better. The tripod provides you with a 360-degree swivel mount, and the legs of the tripod extend up to 7.3 inches. The only thing that stands out with the Logitech C922 is that it comes with a tripod. Design-wise, the Logitech C922 is identical to the Logitech C920, same color and size, the same microphone placement, and even the same 6-foot USB cord.
